LAUNCH OF THE LOW CARBON INNOVATION FUND.

The Low Carbon Innovation Centre launch their Low Carbon Innovation Fund (LCIF).
The Low Carbon Venture Capital Fund is for Small to Medium sized enterprises (SME's) in the East of England region.
The LCIF is part of the 'Understanding Finance for Business' programme, which is part of Solutions for Business, the Government's package of publicly funded business support designed to help companies start and grow.
LCIF supports companies developing low carbon prooducts or services or improving their processes to reduce their operational CO2 outputs.
The fund makes equity investments only. Each investment uses public and private investment funds on a 40:60% ratio. The LCIF contribution will be between £50K and £500K and the co-investment will be at least the same amount or higher.
