Fund to help SME's respond to the challenges of Climate Change and potential of a low carbon economy
The fund aims to enable the automotive technology sector to achieve objectives for innovation and growth, developing a more sustainable supply chain and demonstrating more sustainable practices or technologies.
The creation of a innovation network to share knowledge and capability with SME's, and assisting in the process of innovation that turns knowledge into real commercial projects and services.
Up to £5,000,000 has been allocated to the network for low carbon vehicle innovation theme. ERDF can fund up to 40% of a project's eligible cost. Delivery of the project must be undertaken on a not for profit basis.
