Marketing Boost for Norwich Businesses
September sees the re-laucnh of a unique marketing support project benefiting Norwich firms
Business surveys show that efficient and effective marketing is the key to gaining more sales, and finding and keeping customers.
From September, NAME - Norwich Action for Marketing and Exhibitions, is looking to work with small businesses operating across Norwich to help them drive forward their marketing by offering specialist support, advice, subsidised training and funding.
The project is managed by Shaping Norfolk's Future and delivered in partnership with the Norfolk Network. The funding comes from Norwich City Council’s 'Go For It! Enterprising Norwich' programme.
With marketing techniques changing rapidly, businesses need to identify what works best and gives good value as they market products and services. NAME will assist businesses through providing professional, quality advice and training as well as partnering firms with carefully chosen suppliers and offering a subsidy to maximise marketing spend.
"We're interested in supporting firms in the creative, IT, low carbon and knowledge industries that need marketing support to kick-start their expansion," explains Tom Howell, newly appointed Marketing Co-ordinator for NAME.
NAME will begin its subsidised training programme on 30th September with an interactive half-day workshop led by leading digital marketing agency, Soak. The event is a great opportunity for any Norwich based business eager to understand more about effectively planning and improving their online marketing strategy - full details can be found at www.norfolknetwork.com/namedigital.
Full details of the programme are available by contacting Tom Howell at the Norfolk Network office – 01603 663340 or email name@norfolknetwork.com. Details of the project and training programme will also soon be available on the NAME website www.namenorwich.org
