Do you need a faster broadband service?  Learn about our campaign to improve broadband across Norfolk.  

 

Is your broadband service more 20th century that 21st century?  Is your information superhighway a bottleneck?  Can you even access broadband?

 

Shaping Norfolk’s Future working with partners across the county, will be demanding a fast broadband service, which our businesses and organisations need.

 

Activities

 

Frances Piggott, Projects Officer for Shaping Norfolk’s Future said,

 

“We’re going to be undertaking a wide range of activities to drive the campaign forward and would like to encourage Norfolk businesses to get involved. 

 

We’re producing a broadband strategy for Norfolk, raising demand for high speed broadband, raising awareness of broadband schemes in Norfolk and creating a broadband group to feed into the East of England Digital Group.”

 

Demonstrate Demand

 

Norfolk is a low-priority area for improved broadband services and we want to demonstrate the high level of demand for encourage broadband suppliers to invest in broadband infrastructure in the county. 

 

Teaming up with the Eastern Region Broadband Uplift Scheme (EREBUS), funded by the East of England Development Agency, we invite you to www.erebusonline.org.ukvisit their site and sign up to demand faster broadband services for your business, organisation and home.

 

EREBUS will map demand, down to your post code area to demonstrate the need to suppliers.
